Thinking about going to Palestine tomorrow & wanted to see if anybody had any good reports on the crappie fishing around the dam area?

I don't have a report on the dam,

but brushpiles in 18-23 ft were holding fish yesterday.


I don't think the lake is cold enough yet to drive them deep.

Canton lake is suppose to be the sleeper why drive to Palestine??I was headed past Stien to Canton .Give us the low down.Darrell

I don't crappie fish very much & my buddie lives by Palestine. Your right about Canton lake though I've see some big crappiecaught out there. How did you do at Canton?
