After the 8-9 inches of rain we got last Sunday and the fact that the east Texas lakes are over full already. The overflow drain at Cypress Springs was dumping thousands of gallons into Sandlin. I took this picture last Friday. I'll bet it was much worse early in the week.
I think the fast moving water dumping into Sandlin caused a sort of vortex so it would boil into Sandlin and then all of a sudden blow like Old Faithful at Yellowstone. Only saw this happen one time before.
