I fished Bob Sandlin this past Friday and Saturday for 7 hours each day. First time ever on the lake. Water was 56 degrees and pretty muddy. Water did seem a little cleaner east of the railroad bridge. Caught a total of 4 little ones. Just wondering if anyone else was there this weekend and did you struggle as bad as I did?

Sandlin is very tough this time of year. This is especially true after last Sunday's 9 inches of rain. Lots of cold muddy water.

I have a place on the lake and I fished Welsh and Brandy Branch last week. Did not even put my boat in at Sandlin. More cold water is pouring in from Cypress Springs. Blow hole on Sandlin looked like Old Faithful with all the water coming in from Cypress.
