I took my Kayak up the creek on WhiteRock(this creek is now 7ft-10ft deep, pretty much all the way to Northwest Hwy, just fyi) hoping to find some crappie holding in some brush. Was out from 1-4pm, never found them. Is it still too early for them to be heading up the creek? The water temps were right at 50 degrees, several degrees warmer than the main lake where I launched from. Was throwing jigs under a bobber, red/white,white,purple passion, pink. All my favorites and still nada. I still had a good time, although it does help when I catch something other than a cold! haha

That creek gets too much pressure I think.

Normally the bite gets good going further up, avoid the bends just ahead the NW bridge. Too much fishing pressure. Got a tip from some people to look for junk piles, its productive but slow. Best bet is forks and deep pools. From my experience. I got curious and went to the bends I mentioned. 3 fish, no keepers in 3 hours.

Bends and structure for sure. Chart/white is the ticket.

Thx for the report ironmike, I was determined to get out there this past weekend to try my luck again. It just never happened, there is never enough time in the day anymore. I'm locked and loaded to go this coming weekend though. Saturday or Sunday I will be out there.

Well I went out today up the creek, again. Again still didn't get a single thing. I do believe that I am about done with whiterock. I have given it about a dozen tries and now it has gotten to the point where it is just a waste of my time. Sorry wish I had a better report.
