Anyone been to Monticello lately and are the power plants generating .how is fishing been

One stack was operating yesterday. Discharge temp was 64, mid lake to dam was 60, upper Blundell and smith 55.
Lake was flooded last week end and is still a bit high, but dropping. Most of lake is stained.
Fishing was tough. Had two bites on a spinnerbaits at the edges of hyathins and boated one, had one bite on a senko in scattered hydrilla.

 This is from Monticello on New Years Eve. only fished in the morning but got this 7 pounder and one in the 4 pound range. Agree with the post above, water is stained, one stack running, low 60's temp and fishing pretty tough.

Good fish Jeff! Going to Monti on Sunday for the first time this year. Thats a good spot where you caught that fish

The wooden pier is in the parking lot also, due to the storm last week.
