Finally giving in and actually gonna name the "brand" if you can call it that. Debated back and forth with myself over the last year and finally see the need. They are sold in a couple of stores and might increase some internet sales eventually.

Since they are made locally, by hand etc I kinda though just calling them Local Customs. Gonna give the C in locals a pointed kinda a look maybe like a fish head kinda deal. I figure Local describes them plus plays on the local customs thing a bit that each area has.

Just wanted to see if this makes any sense to anyone but me.... roflmao

Makes sense to me. I think it's a great idea. "MP's Local Customs"

Still "locally" made. Anything beyond "local" I guess would be be considered an import...cost more.

I like it Mark, I have been thinking the same thing lately I keep having people ask where my logo or website is. Hell they have even asked what my buisness name is and I just have no response lol

hey mark. branding makes a lot of sense but be careful about using a name that pigeon holes you to a particular area. i had a product once that had "texas" on it and it was a tough sell in other parts of the country. words like "custom" equate to expensive to most people. something simple like "mark perry lures" identifies you and the product and can encompass a huge array of products. 2cents see you at fun N sun.

I know you so "Local Customs" makes sense to me (your local for me and you make custom baits), not sure it would be the same experience for others just seeing your product from a different perspective. Agree with the "custom" equates to expensive") comment above.

I'll throw out "Hit the Mark Lures", it kind of identifies you as making specialty items that are successful and incorporates a general play on words with your name.

hit the mark
phrase of hit
1. be successful in an attempt or accurate in a guess.
