 Lake Palestine on the first

Caught a dozen crappie on Palestine yesterday. It was cold but worth it. Did not have a scale but my cooler is 17 1/2 inches across the top. All fish on Pepop's 1/8 jig. I let the big one go.

You need a scale for them 20" fish homie!!! Nice job! Glad you threw him back so I can catch him!! I'm gonna need a bigger skillet!!!

There you go making me hungry and I'm prolly 400 miles from a nutria!! I see these poor swuirrels climbing 8ft tall scrub trees and I wanna load em in my pocket and bring em home to E Tx and turn em loose!! Imagine a hill country squirrel seeing his first big white oak tree!!
