It is just off 380 going north out of Graham. You should cross a small creek and the road (hot point loop) will be the next left. It was called Peanuts. There may still be a sign with that name on it. I haven't been there but a couple of times years ago. Jerry T used to fish that lake a lot. He may be able to give more info.

Hey bud - hope to see you on the water sometime in the coming year. I haven't fished much lately. Glad to see you're still wearin' 'em out.

Hickory Nut has the directions perfect. You can see the old gray dock from the Graham boat ramp just as the lake comes into sight, if you're coming from Graham. If you come to a nice sized bridge and are seeing water for a second time, you've passed it. The dock is on the south side of the road (or left-hand side), coming from town, and has a sign marking the dirt road entrance...

I fished very seldom this year. The last time I went was ~two weeks ago and it was poor. I anticipate the fishing to get HOT anytime now. We haven't had long enough cold spells to make the dock fishing fun until just the last 5-7 days.

Machinist might chime in, he lives on the lake and is able to fish more than me right now.

Mr. Morgan runs the bait stand just outside of town and is currently running the dock during the weekday mornings.

Right now if I didn't live 5 minutes from the crappie house I wouldn't even go. For some reason and we
are trying hard to figure out why, the fishing is terrible. I mean we usually fish from when it opens
at 7:00AM to 11:00AM and I feel lucky to even get a bite much less catch a keeper. I know the Lake has
been going over the spillway and the power plant is not running but I have never seen it this bad. We
would love for out of town folks to come fish with us but until the fishing picks up there are lots of
better places to fish. Oh yeah I forgot to say Monday thru Friday its open from 7:00AM until noon if the
fish are biting. Saturday its only open until 9:30AM and closed on Sunday. PM me if you have any other questions.

Johnny
