Very Nice. Thats about the same size as my biggest out of there. I know 1-2 years ago a 5lbr was caught from there, which means that lake can sustain them! I love catching smallies.

Broken bow lake has been good for me. Went to Beavers Bend many years ago, before kayaks, and trout fished in rented canoes. I'd like to go back and try the lake for some smallmouth. Has the area recovered well from the flooding? No, it has not recovered. State Park is now closed. As it was recovering from the may flooding it suffered even greater flooding around Christmas. This is the trout area, below the dam. I don't know about the lake itself.

They Bread just fine, dip in egg 1rst. Just kidding... Belton sure has a lot of smallmouth, Does anyone know if these are all stocked or are they actually reproducing in Belton?
