Very Nice. Thats about the same size as my biggest out of there. I know 1-2 years ago a 5lbr was caught from there, which means that lake can sustain them! I love catching smallies.

No, it has not recovered. State Park is now closed. As it was recovering from the may flooding it suffered even greater flooding around Christmas. This is the trout area, below the dam. I don't know about the lake itself.

They Bread just fine, dip in egg 1rst. Just kidding... Belton sure has a lot of smallmouth, Does anyone know if these are all stocked or are they actually reproducing in Belton?
