Getting ready to mount a RAM mount (D-178) to console of Z7. My question is "what size screw/bolt should be used to secure it to the console?"

Think I used 1/4 inch. stainless screws, washers and lock nuts from auto parts store or tractor supply. The screws that came with my mount were too short.
