I heard they are biting down at the barge! They usually turn on really good after we get ice or snow.

I was there last night, five guys fishing from 11-3 not one keeper crappie. Dinks were few and far between

Went this morning. Got there at 4:30am to try the outside bite - boy was that a mistake. Wind howling out of the north shot that attempt down real quick, so took shelter inside. It was the dead sea until 7:30, and all the sudden they put the feedbags on. The bite was pretty decent till about 9am, and then it dropped off again so I called it a day. Lots of little fish, but keepers are starting to show up. I'd say there were probably 30 keepers caught between everyone, with a few fish going 1.5lbs. Chartreuse/white seemed to be a good color. Bring on more cold weather!
