This area really got hammered last evening and night. Eleven tornados up to EF4 just kept coming. Fifteen people are known dead and many others missing. One of the worst funnels moved up the shore of Lake Ray Hubbard and did extensive damage.

In addition heavy rain, thunder and lightning continues. The CORE have shut the flood gates on Joe Pool to try to prevent flooding downstream on the Trinity.

All in all, not a very happy Christmas for a lot of people.

Looks like a wet cold winter is in store for January and February. Like Banker says. "Hopefully no more flooding"!

Been one wild weather cycle since last May. Hopefully it will settle down this upcoming spring.
