Is the lake open tomorrow? If so, I've got a backseat open if someone wants to join me and split expenses.

As far as I know it's open dad was going tomorrow and made a reservation and talked to them said they were open.

Alright, I made a reservation as well. The Luminant site said they are typically closed on New Years Day. Never got to call them in time.

I think generally they will not allow reservations if they are closed. That being said, I will be there bright and early. Gotta get my first bass of the year.

I was out there with my 7 year old. He crushed them in the morning Texas rigging the south side of the lake. I was skunked until about noon. Then I brought in a few nice ones.
Whoever was in the Nitro z7 or z8 and told us to switch to squarebills Thank you. They were all over those squarebills. We also did really good with Tilapia for some fish tacos tonight.
My son had a blast. It was cold but worth it. It was less crowded then usual.
