I was until this last flood, now I'm starting over. Water temps running 52 ish and not seeing the shad in big schools yet, a lot of small schools in 25-30 FOW. If you can find them shallower than 30' there's a ton of weeds and brush to foul your net. It's a mess right now.

On Richland Chambers, we continue to catch all of our Channel Cats in 15'-20' FOW over Baited Holes on Danny Kings Blood Punch Bait. Near Drop Offs and around Timber but always over Baited Areas. Not fishing the Commorant Roosts way up the Creeks this year but staying nearer the Marina and doing more fishing than chilly boat riding. fish

Still High Pressure at 30.34 on Saturday, but the wind layed enough on Richland Chambers to conduct a trip and we fished with a Family from Houston that loves to Wintertime Catfish!!! The Guys versus the Gals and I had the Gals in my boat. They managed 47 Keepers with most being Channels but also a couple of BIG BLUES! We beat the Guys but not by much! breakdance

Fish came from baited holes in water ranging from 6' to 20' and all on DK's Blood Punch Bait on a #4 treble. Fished from 10AM to 2PM and bite slowed a couple of times but never stopped totally. Great time of year for Catfish on RC as we have a 45,000 acre Lake totally to ourselves. Didn't see another boat on the Lake on Saturday! clap

"WINTER SPECIAL OFFER" in effect thru February. Give us a call and Let's Go Fishin'!
