Actually this is the type weather us Real Crappie Season fishermen wait for and anxiously anticipate! Fish concentrate in particular areas,and once found, will provide consistent long term action. Warm "Ideal" weather scatters em and it turns into too much work finding them, at least in the creeks and rivers, which is what i fish this time of yr.

Put in the time and effort and you'll meet people along the way. Sit back and watch for a few minutes every now and then. Don't be afraid to talk to people. You'll learn a lot. Pay close attention to detail when you're out. Take pictures(careful posting them) and keep a note pad with you and take notes. Weather, water temp, air pressure, where you caught each fish/where you got bit, lure/bait size/color, etc.. You'll start seeing patterns. Piece it all together like a puzzle and it'll make you a much better angler. They're definitely there. Keep after them. You'll find them.

Really crowded today!
Ok I need spinning reel and rod suggestions.
The guys catching the fish were launching there lures.
My little ultra light crappie rod and my bait casting set up just don't cut it.

The guys launching lures were fishing for sandies, hybrids, and catfish when I was there. Were they catching Crappie way out there?

Not many crappie. The crappie were being caught next to the fishing deck. Yeah mainly all sandies. I may also be in the market for waders now

Sometimes it can feel that way w/ inexperienced fisherman! If you catch one you can bet it will get real crowed real fast... Don't hesitate to pm for any info and good luck

Fished there tonight every fish I caught I had a light shining in my face and people got closer and closer!!!
