I'm in the market for a new graph at the bow. I was pretty sold on the Hummingbird Onix 5 with SI. Then I see this Garmin Striker 7 at Bass Pro for around the same price and 2 more inches of screen. I'm not partial to Hummingbird except I have the 859 at the console. Opinions please. Have any of y'all had any experience with the Garmin products? Thanks

I had two garmin 70s touchscreens linked with the gcv 10 which gave them side and down imaging. They were awesome units and I would love to have garmins again. I just bought another boat that was outfitted with humminbirds though and will have to wait awhile before switching over again.

I've never used them but have heard nothing but a lot of good things on here from people that have. Wish I had more to offer but like like I said, people seem to really like them.

I've heard nothing but positive to glowing reviews from a few guys that ran them in 2015. Bird, Garmin or Lo-Rants Pick the best one u can afford and learn how to use it to full effect.

I would personally look at the echomap 53dv or 73dv over the striker. Just my opinion on that though I love my echomaps. Also David at shut up and fish offers both hummingbird and garmin you might check with him and see if he can save you some money.

Brad's graphs had some of the best pictures/resolutions I've seen- was insane how great the detail was. Wish I could figure out how to make my hds 10s look that good!
