Hey guys, I'm thinking about spending some time on Cedar Creek pretty soon and have never been on the lake.
Are there any areas that I need to be careful running? Of course I figure when you get in coves but I'm talking main lake stuff.
Thanks and have a great 2016!

When lake is full you can go where ever you like. I would be careful around crappie island, the mouth has some humps which have scattered some stumps on them.

The lake is full, so you can run most anywhere, just watch your depthfinder. As with most lakes, steer clear of the shallow points. If you have a GPS with maps, it should show any shallow areas to avoid.

The lake is muddy up north, but still fishable down south.

Thanks guys.
I'm either going out tomorrow or Saturday, or both to do some scouting and get the lay of the lake.
I have at least one tourney coming up (Bass Champs) and possibly a couple more if I decide to fish the ABA Open series.

Be aware as you are running the lake as there has been a lot of dock damage due to high water and big winds back in early December. Floaters will be out there so a little less speed than normal is the prudent thing to do. Good luck!
