Am considering an "easy step" or an "ez step" system to assist getting off the boat when it on the trailer. Anyone used either of these? I fish by myself most of the time, so don't have a helper.

djn: What type boat do you have may I ask? I have an ez- step that I don't use because I have a step on my trailer already?

i used one of those hook type boarding ladders for years. they hook over the side and you just chunk them back into the boat. i didn't like crawling over the bow to get to the ez step.

My fishing buddy who is also a welder made this one for me. He on the forum as olhipi. Since then, I had my aluminum fab guy build a handrail that also bolts to the tongue but he builds them now with a handrail that sits on a pin and can be removed. The price is less that the high dollar e-z step. Also, he builds them out of stell, not aluminum.
