I should have probably put this on the partner finder but from the looks of it, everyone is further north. Didn't see any saltwater fishermen. To make a long story short I was just stationed down here in Texas and I am not familiar with the water out of Corpus. I am looking for someone to go out and fish with a couple times... I have a 20 foot boat but it is a flat bottom so I have to really pick the days that I can go out. At my last base in Pensacola I would regularly take it 6-9 miles out. Id prefer if we took your boat, I would be MORE then glad to split all the costs, bait/gas/etc..... I dont expect a handout, I love to fish and I know it costs to play.

I only get down 5 or 6 times a year, but I would be glad to take you out if you want to fish with a old vet. I will send you a PM after the first of the year. You should be getting some of those reds now the big ones are inshore now also the trout are on now also. They use to have a marina on base you could get some good info there.

That would be awesome! Like I said, I have a 20 foot flat bottom and I only live 2 hours from Corpus. I dont mind driving down and fishing but I dont know anything about the area as in far as the waters. Id like to learn so I will have a better understanding of the area
