Havent been there in years and almost talked myself into going a couple of times recently. Never fished it in winter.

Small Mouth population is high there. Lots of 10"-14" fish. Slow rolling a 3/8oz. white/black spinner bait on rock drop offs and TX Rig 3" soft plastic craws have always been productive for me during the winter. Water is pretty clear so fluorocarbon line is a must. Good Luck.

If the water is still clear or not heavily stained I would throw a jerkbait.

If the water is still clear or not heavily stained I would throw a jerkbait. The best schools of smallies I ever got on there was throwing a jerkbait over 50 foot of water and watching them come up and nail it just under the surface.
I hate photobucket.
