My dad is here for the holidays and we were hoping to take him and the kids fishing this week. He's never had a chance to with my kids and it's been about 25 years since I've been able to go with him. I'm looking for a easily accessible dock or bank fishing spot that is pretty good this time of year for bass. He's not able to go too far off the beaten path. Recommendations are appreciated. I know there's a map here with tons of bank fishing spots...just trying to make sense of which are worthwhile this time of the year, also what baits are working well with the current conditions.

Thanks!

Yeah, sorry to not include that in the original post- we're in the McKinney area, so anywhere in the north Dallas area is preferred...Thank you!

Tons of HOA neighborhoods in the 380 west area with good ponds, do a googlemaps look over and find one. Cross oak ranch at 720 has a good pond that is stocked with good bass. Ray Roberts state park off 455 has good shore line.
