Just for fun and keeping everyone's brain geared toward fishing on this crazy Monday!
Say you had a tournament on your favorite lake this morning (and the boat ramps are still open lol) you had the the high water and cold front conditions just like we have now what would you do? GO!!
For me water clarity would play a pretty big roll I would drive around till I found the clearest water possible an slowly fish/focus on brush anywhere from 8-20ft. (I try not to get too deep when the water is murky like now.) Flipping a black and blue jig, and black and blue 7inch T-rig power worm. dragging a football and/or swing head with a baby brush hog on the back. Oh and occasionally slowly winding and lipless crank with a stop and go retrieve keeping it in the strike zone as long as possible

I would focus on the brush piles i know in deeper water. Mainly main lake stuff as i think it would be clearer water. But i know it would be tough

It would be tuff for sure! My home lake i fish is normally pretty clear 7-10 water clarity here after all the rain it maybe has 1-2ft and seems they have pulled up in to the shallows even thou the water temp is low to mid 50's. I was on a pattern in about 15-25 ft focusing on brushing piles fishing them with a jigging spoon but when the rain started two-three weeks ago they seemed to go shallow dew to water clarity seems like they don't like to stay deep when the water is dirty. That 8-15 foot range is where I found em

I'd slow roll a double Colorado spinnerbait in the flooded stuff. Cover a lot of water & key on cleaner water.

I'm gonna try pitching a jig on my concrete patio with the metal furniture sitting on it. I think with a really long cast I might also be able to pick a fish off of my dish. Maybe they will start schooling around my firewood pile soon too. This is on Cypress Springs this morning. Bad deal out there right now. I'm obviously joking around but it's a really bad situation out there right now for a lot of people. We are fortunate we are elevated and the house is so far off the water.

Jig, crank bait, c-rig... and live on the dam... maybe 3 other spots, two with rock, one is a point... and if you can catch 1 I'd buy you a steak dinner

I would try a Texas rig black creature bait everywhere. I don't know much, that's just my confidence bait.

WOW. been going to the lake for 20+ years and have never seen it this high. We have a place out there but it is high and nothing on the dock to float away. Crazy
