This place is quite a drive from my neck of the woods. That's why I always check online how much they're releasing. Save's me time and gas. Because of the rain Hubbard is full again, so Lavon cant release as much. But once Hubbard settles down again, then all the gates at Lavon will open up again.

Yeah the drive is good for me too but worth it if I figure the place out. So far less water seems better. So does a cold front. The day I did ok. It was 36 degrees at 3pm and they were releasing about 1600cfs. Everyone was catching stuff. Even the new guy(me)

Has anyone been back out? They are still releasing a lot of water I see.

Very slow for me around 3-5:30 Sunday... Managed to catch about 8 small whites on slabs. Looked the creek was producing some crappies.? Saw some good stringers. Good luck

Saturday was really good, but yesterday was tough. I caught a few sandies, but I was there a long time. A lot of people left just shaking their heads.
