 HDS 7 Gen 2 Touch only 1 SD Card Slot Issue

Wondering if Anyone can help me. I just bought this HDS 7 Gen 2 Touch for christmas and dropped it off at my mechanic to get installed. My question is the following. This unit only has 1 SD card slot. If I wanted to purchase Navionics and the chip is required to stay in the SD slot how will i save my mapping and structure recordings without a Standard SD card to save it to? Will it back up to the Navionics chip? Help help help
 If im not fishing im Bi*chin that id rather be!

No, do not record onto the Navionics card. The graph will save a little of the info internal and then you have to import it onto a empty sd card. If you want to record a lot then you're going to have to remove the Nav card and insert a sd card. Make sure you set the lock on the Navionics card to keep from recording over it.
