There are a couple of things that you will want to do to them before using them. I have many combinations for weather conditions and water conditions. This is my best go to spinner bait. It has won me many tournaments. - Purchase a 3/8 oz. Mann's Classic. - Strip all the paint off the head. - repaint the head silver diamond dust - Drill eye sockets and install eyes, 1/4 inch. - Coat the head with epoxy to seal the paint and eyes. - Change the big blade to a #3.5 Hammered copper willow blade. - Build a living rubber skirt in blue, chart. and white. - Scent the rubber skirt in Minnow extract. - Arm it with a Stanley Pro Trailer in White/glitter. This guy knows his spinnerbaits...

It's like any bait. You have to throw them to get right with them. My partner won't touch them. I always throw one and we have a great time making bets on the first fish. Once you get clued in on using them they are hard to put down. (maybe this is why Guides always put one in an inexperienced customers hands)

I like the old Terminator Stainless, pretty well in any color as long as it's white.

Nothing beats a spinner bait with a big ol' Colorado gold blade.
