It's like any bait. You have to throw them to get right with them. My partner won't touch them. I always throw one and we have a great time making bets on the first fish. Once you get clued in on using them they are hard to put down. (maybe this is why Guides always put one in an inexperienced customers hands)

Go get a couple of these and try them out. They have done good for me in many different situations

I like the old Terminator Stainless, pretty well in any color as long as it's white.

Nothing beats a spinner bait with a big ol' Colorado gold blade.
