Deadsticked for awhile today and picked up a few ok ones pretty slow though. Clouded up around 3 and the hybrids came up top for 2 hrs straight. Absolutely slaughtered them can hardly move my arm. Took my buddy from Nashville that had never caught a hybrid before and he couldn't believe what he was seeing. He caught the biggest that went 8 1/2 lbs. Couldn't ask for a better Christmas present then that! All fish released for the next lucky fool to catch.

Nice. Glad you all had fun
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

And while eating an early dinner yesterday my mind was on Tawakoni and made a statement it looks like it would be a perfect afternoon, and glad for you it was, just wish I could have been there too.
I bet today would be a copy also.

Nice catch. I was also out that morn from about 8- noon. Looks like i missed em late. Caught about 14 mixed stripers a hybrids. Lost around a 10 lb striper at the boat tryin to net it. We had our Christmas on the 24th so it was a great day on the lake. Good job on the hybrid.

TX Shiner - Very nice pictures of a couple Tawakoni pigs! That is the way the enjoy a 60+ degree Christmas day...
The best gift you can give an angler is to put a good fish back in the water, and who knows if the fish that you just caught isn't someone's gift to you? Lee Wulff, Sport Fisherman
