I fish alot of brush. I have a fish finder on the dash with transducer mounted in the back. Problem is that is 22' from where I'm fishing on the front of the boat. I have an extra fish finder to mount on front but dont want to mount transducer on trolling motor because I've already broke two because they stick out the farthest on the front when trolling motor not deployed. Any ideas?

Why are you breaking the transducer when the motor is stowed?

The trolling motor is mounted in front doorway, and sticks out too far when climbing in and out of the boat.

Get a moveable trolling motor mount so you can slide it rearward after stowing.
Guys that use the electric steer motors use those mounts to get clearance and to remove the motor for security or some other reason.
MinnKota has one and Skeeter boats has a similar one maybe a better choice.

Not sure what kind of tm you have and how it is set up on the pontoon but I'd see about mounting it in a different location if possible. If not then I'd look into a sliding mount so you could move it back a few inches when stowed. Then there's build some kind of box to place over it to protect it, build different stairs to enter/exit the boat or sell it and buy a tm with a built in sonar. Probably the easiest is the sliding mount or have a swing mount built so it can be stowed better and not effect the handling.
