Everyone is pretty harried around the Holidays. But there are certain things in life that mean so much to many of us. One of those being the RHSA. Just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone. What started out as a simple idea to help support Lake Ray Hybrid has turned into so much more. It's turned into an example of what makes America great. We see a cause and we come together as like minded people to help the cause. Our cause of course is stocking Lake Ray Hubbard with hybrids annually. We've made great mutual friends, held successful fundraisers, supported JV's sand bass tournament, which in turn supports RHSA. A lot of little things can add up to some very big things. We've accomplished some big goals with the club and it's because of many of you. Your support, donations and volunteering all go towards making RHSA successful. So thank you from all of us to all of you. May you all be blessed in 2016. Finally here is a video some may have seen before. It put it all into perspective for me today. This is a special time of year. Families come together, our work places celebrate time off and sharing gifts with friends and family.
The RHSA is blessed with a great group of members that we consider family and friends. We have events where we encourage others to come and be a part of this organization. Our lake and the fishermen have benefited from this the last few years. Having fun is our main goal. Fun fishing and catching. Fun with your families because we are very family oriented. We encourage catch and release on the Hybrids and keep all the sandbass you legally can. We work hand in hand with the TPWD in our stockings of fish and our work and efforts are starting to be displayed by the great Hybrids that are being caught.
Come join us and have a good time.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Last night from our balcony above Harbor Bay my son and I filmed the tornado forming and then quickly growing into a huge tornado. When I heard about the five people killed in their cars, and others in their homes my mind went back to this post. We don't know when our life is up. Hug and love your families. Get out fishing more. Enjoy life to the fullest. No one expected the death and destruction we witnessed last night. In fact earlier in the day we were out whacking the fish. It started off as a normal day. It didn't end that way. A few hours later life changed forever for many people. Pray for those that lost so much. Life is for the living. Let's live like it's our last day. Peace.

It was awesome when I had about 200 baby hybrids in a net in my hand as we let them go into the lake. Very cool!
