If you repower with Evinrude at the Houston Show(January 8-17, 2016) . You will get a 7 year warranty and Free rigging on 75-300HP motors.
I am not involved with Evinrude just sharing and email I received from them.

I ran the new G2 this past season. It spent literally 1/3 of the time at all 7 Tour events at the service trailer with various(different) problems. WHEN it actually ran, it ran strong. IF they get it all figured out I think it will be a good motor. Hot weather caused it to vapor lock bad. So not the best motor for Texas. I hope they get all the bugs out of it for their sake. It was stronger than ALL the other motors when it ran.

I LOVE my evenrudes... all I will have on a boat... but this one I have heard a lot bad news on... sounds like they rushed some out before they were ready

if you buy one keep in mind that sooner or later it will be for sale the other products sell easier.
