Anyone caught any striper on Canyon since the floods?

I've never targeted striper up until this fall. They kind of fell into my lap one trip and we had so much fun we've chased them the last few times out. They've been mostly in the coves near the bait balls, but the last trip out (about a week ago) was much slower going. It could have just been a timing thing though. Beware of the consumption warning for Canyon Lake striper though.

I am new to striper fishing too. We cought them on Travis last summer trolling combo rigs, also jigging slabs. Have not been able to find them since. What type of baits are you using?

They were hitting deep diving cranks (shad patterns) and spoons but it probably didn't matter what we had in the water. They've been pretty thick along with some whites. Last trip out the bait balls were a bit deeper so I trolled and used some diving discs (I don't have downriggers) but we didn't have much luck and only landed one in a couple hours.

Caught these guys trolling sassy shads on umbrella rigs the day before thanksgiving. My son caught a double. They were all caught in less than 20 FOW. Sorry for the picture orientation. Posting from an iPad.
