Looks like low wind so plan is to put in at John Paul on Hubbard, peddle over to Rowlett and see if I can find anything going on. Good workout if nothing else. If anybody else wants to try PM me. I am a creek rook.

That's a pretty long paddle. See if you can launch at the abandoned marina on Rowlett Rd if you want a closer launch.

Haven't looked over there. Is it possible or are you thinking out loud? Will google map it and see if sat pics look promising.

It's possible if you drive (or cart your yak) around the gate to the far ramp. The ramp next to the road is unusable. There is often bank fishermen blocking the ramp with vehicles and all their stuff though.

Thanks for the report. If you didn't even see any one the graph, that saved me another dry run.

when we have about 4-5 days with no rain,I am going to be trying the mouth of the creek for cats. I am thinking about new years day if life (and the redhead) permits. This rain/drain usually makes that an interesting spot to drop a bit of chum. I'll cruise it first with the SI and see what I can find.
