I have taken beating after beating on that lake. I go out there and graph tons of bait every time. Fish it deep, fish it shallow. Only luck I have it sticking some stipers or small sandies. Is there a general location on where the black bass are? I've never fished west of High port , yesterday i fished eisenhower point and some of those creeks on south end. 1 freaking fish. tired of getting my butt kicked someone help me out

There is a pattern right now took most of the day last weekend to figure it out but it was consistent.
Don't want to give up the pattern but they where in less than 3 ft of water. Some days they will not hit a reaction bait
and some days they will.

I like to fish @ Platter Flats and Alberta Creek, RR bridge, Catfish Bay areas. I like to fish the OK side.

I'd go look for smallies...

I like to fish the OK side too but last I heard, Little Mineral was kicking some smallies out off those points and a few largies up shallow in there. Always been pretty tough for me too but for some reason I keep going..

When the water gets in the 50s like it is now, work a jerkbait with long pauses. Small deep crankbaits and jigs worked slow. Also a jigging spoon will catch them if your good with it. When we are on a warming trend I like to head west or north and fish the more stained water shallow. If not target smallies from midlake and south.
