Had a solid day this past Sunday. The bite had really gotten tough lately for me as several working patterns had faded. Found a shallow wacky worm bite in anywhere from 2 out to around 8ft or so. The fish were on points close to deeper water and not in the backs of pockets. Vegetation being present usually meant multiple bites. If the sun poked through or we had a little cleaner water we would throw watermelon trick worms but with the cloud cover we had most of the day and stain to most of the water we threw LFT ring fry's in the new black magic color. We had about 15 bites on an a.m. half day trip Sunday. Most of the fish were good unders or just in the slot with a few dinks and one fish in the top side of the slot. Here's a pic of customer Zack Watts with the best one from Sunday. I have some good dates available for january. Right now is not the best numbers bite but as we get colder water it is one of your best chances to catch some really big fish. If I can help in any way on your next Lake Fork trip, let me know.
