Where can you catch or buy some big shad 5 or 6 inches around Greenville,Tx

I catch mine at the spillway outlet of my current lake. Would that be Wright Patman spillway? That place is a goldmine for shad.

Talked to a friend lives by Tawakoni and he is still catching nice shad there ...water temp hovering 60*
If it ain't broke don't fix it...but go ahead and work on it anyway.....

The spillway on tawakoni is full of shad, a few throws and I was good to go. I walked on the rocks under the bridge and threw it there. It's a little tough but it was worth the shad.
