My starboard livewell wont stay full only stays about a 1/3full unless I am running the pump to fill it. What part to I need to replace to fix this? It does not seem to be leaking into the hull so im guessing its leaking out elsewhere.

When you get home today, run a water house to it and fill it up. See what hole water is leaking out of. I bet it will turn out to be your pump that pumps the water in. The one way valve is probably bad in it. Hopefully that pump isn't hard to get to but I wouldn't bet on it. Good chance it's in the bottom of the hull. Get ready to be sore from your belt to your titties.

One of several problems. More than likely, your pump on that side lost its prime. Try putting the boat in reverse and backing up a few yards, then back in forward and see if this takes care of it.
If not, your shut-off valve may not be opening/closing all the way.
If it's neither of these, could be the fill line is too long. Cut it to fit and re-install.

I bet there is a pc of trash keeping the shut off valve from closing all the way

Go buy you a couple can of Gunk from the parts store. Once you get all your stuff out of then spray the whole area with that Gunk and spray it out....do this several times and it'll clean up pretty good.

Kent Ellis mentioned this... But I'll add... There 2 OPEN / CLOSE valves located under the battery charger shelf. Fun n Sun sells these for about $30 each. My guess is that the cable is broke or the valves aren't closing all the way. I assume you're not seeing a leak at the livewell recirc pump or at the livewell drain?
Good luck... With a boat it's always something.

It will be your valve leaking by the flapper it either has trash blocking it or flapper is bad. All of mine in the past have been bad flappers. If you have flow rite valves they sell a rebuild kit but I always just replaced the whole valve. You can look up flow rite valves and see the kits and valves. Maybe someday I will run into each other if you are out on Tyler fishing.

Can't speak for Skeeter but I have a Cat and had a piece of line get caught in my valve and it would not seal properly. Removed the line or replace the valve working great.

Ill try the water deal and see what happens tomorrow evening Get the valve rebuild kits before you take everything apart. They are a pain to get to, and you only want to do it once. I would also recommend upgrading the pumps while you are there if they are standard low volume ones. I put 750 gph cartridge pumps on the last time I went in.

Or just use a plug on the drain hole inside the live well. I got tired of rebuilding the valves due to the flappers ripping apart.
Plug it and go.

Plug it and go. So u took off the screen cover and just plugged it with a standard plug like the ones found in a cooler? I like this idea best. Least amount of work and seems to be fool proof way to solve the issue.

On my skeeter the drain doesn't have a screen, Only the intake for the recirc/pumpout.
Yep, just a rubber plug from walmart.
