They're releasing more trout tomorrow. Do you think it's worth the trip? Decent drive. Not sure what time of the day or where they release them at though. Thanks.
I pulled this from the TPWD website:
"21. Canyon Tailrace/Guadalupe River: Trout will be stocked at Guadalupe Park, Whitewater Sports, Rio Guadalupe/bridge crossing in Sattler, Third Crossing, and Camp Huaco Springs. During the stocking season, several locations will offer free access to trout anglers. See map. Please note special regulations are in effect for trout on some sections of this river reach."
I usually go to Camp Huaco Springs. It's very bank fishing friendly. I think they generally release the fish sometime between mid-morning and early afternoon. Definitely worth the trip if you've never been before. Plenty of good BBQ joints in New Braunfels too.
