Not as hard when you are fishing pond sized lakes. I don't get why a proponent of the sport still puts fish on stringers just for pics.

Man I agree! I just wonder how many 10+ pound bass he has killed by hanging them just for pictures.

He fishes the castaic overflow and other small waters. He puts in his time no doubt. The old school stringer erks me everytime though cause he releases them after.

Butch pretty much does from what I understand, he fishes very small lakes that are stocked with Florida strain then fed stocker trout until their gut busts.

I agree. Also if you look at the places he is fishing when you are throwing a large bait, there is basically nothing in the water (cover) to obstruct the view of the fish from seeing your large bait in the water. That is a tremendous bonus in helping you catch the biggest fish in the lake, or pond.
