Dawg - the flooding changed up the places I usually fish - the water is faster and deeper there. I got lucky and found a pool that was loaded with fish pretty quickly. I fished one other pool that I usually do well in and I didn't get a strike there so it seems things have changed a little ( for me anyway). All the fish I caught were in real shallow water which surprised me as bright and sunny as it was today. I was striping an olive wooly bugger through some shallow riffles and I saw most of the fish take the fly - I could see the bottom were I caught most of the fish. Fun stuff.

Happy birthday bud looks like a good dinner. Weather stays like this we might need to start exploring the creeks for Sandbass in the next few weeks.

Thanks Robert. Yea, I dont think the weather is going to hold out though. Man, I'm ready for some creek fishing. Going to try to put together an epic spring, creek fishing video.

Thanks Banker, can't complain about that day one bit. Caught a lot of fish, fairly easily. The weather was pleasant and I never saw another person. And, man did I eat good.
