I took my 7 year old out on Cedar Creek yesterday. We fished for 6 hours and did really well. What concerns me though is near the banks on the south side of the lake near log cabin we saw numerous dead white bass. I brought a few in with the net to see what might be wrong. I didn't see any hooks or baits stuck in them. They just looked skinny and sick. We tried our best to revive them but they were past that point.

Anyone know what might be going on?

Haven't seen this in other areas of the lake. I was up Caney Creek arm one day this last week and the water was very muddy - un-fishable. I wonder if muddy water can kill white bass?

Was there Monday afternoon.
Traveled from Lone Star Marina to the Dam and didn't see one dead or sick fish.
The ones we caught were very healthy.

Could be some fisherman decided not the clean the fish he caught and when he got
back to the ramp, dumped them.
