Mike B Flounder , Tim TexExp and I hit Tawakoni this morning and we caught a bunch of fish. We started out stoping at some bird action but several boats ran right through them and killed that. So we set up a long drift in 45 to 50 foot of water and kept the fish under us for 2 to 3 solid hours. We threw back as many as we caught and we caught a bunch. They were BIG fish and they are fattening up for the witer. The sand bass looked liked foot balls and the Hybrid and Striper were mad and fought hard. It was a great day out there. and can't wait to get out again. Had a blast Mike and Tim .

Which end of the lake did you fish? How is the launch at Anchor Inn? Did you fish above the Two Mile Bridge?

Bill we were mid south end of the lake . Also started out by the Dam and drifted south in that area.. Anchor inn is real good. The ramp is great and the cleaning station is the best. Got to use my brand new electric knife --LOL--

Sweet! I was there on Friday and had one keeper hybrid. It was tough. Threw back 4 undersized stripers. We didn't mark fish until 4pm...I guess we were early for the party. Should had gone today. Bummmer. Thanks for the report.
