The Rayledo Divisions of both of these start on Jan 23,BFL on Toledo, Ram Trucks on Rayburn, if you have fished these in the past or plan on it in 2016 what is your best guess on which circuit will draw better? And Im not talking about the first one, Im asking about the whole circuit.

In the past the BFL Cowboy division had 2 to 3 times the number of entries during the year compared to what are now the Ram Opens. Keep in mind this is before the $5000 1st place guarantee that the Opens have this year. Putting the first tournament for each circuit on the same weekend is just asinine but these two organizations have scheduled on top of each other before.
Both are good circuits from what I have seen and heard.

I'm guessing rayburn will have more entries. That's where more local tourney guys home base is. I will link with someone on the ram open series as a Co angler. Maybe I could get lucky and draw one of the local click.

Depends money wise the ram is the only way to go! Rayburn by far better than Toledo. Now I'm fishing bfl because I'm trying to qualify.

I am fishing both, if your looking to qualify for a championship it's possible to make both. I hate that both openers are on the same day, I'm heading to Toledo first!

We put the BFL schedule out in August. I try hard to miss all the other major tournament trails. I knew nothing of their 2016 schedule. Hopefully going forward we can work together and avoid scheduling conflicts so anglers can fish both trails.

Click on tournaments, then Bass Fishing League. Then type in BFL payout in the search bar. If you have any more questions, feel free to reach me at 270-703-9551.

In this post I am not trying to say which circuit pays out better as it can get complicated when discussing championships and contingency money. Of course participation is a huge factor also. FLW BFL Membership to compete is $50 RAM OPEN membership to compete is $25 FLW BFL Entry Fee is $230 RAM OPEN Entry Fee is $200 Payout examples below: BFL Tournament with 101 boats from 2015 RAM OPEN with 100 boats using 2016 web site information:
