Decided to go out today for a couple of hours to see if I could catch some nice catfish. I have had several people ask me if you can catch them on Stubby's Catfish Bait in the winter. I caught about 30. I took a picture of these and they are all back in the lake, alive. So, I guess the answer to your question when you buy my bait if you can catch them in the winter--the answer is yes. Drop it down. If you don't get a bite in a few minutes, crank it back up, mash the bait in your fingers and drop it back. It will let out a scent all the way down. That is all I do to it. As I keep telling y'all, no weight, no slipshot, nothing--the bait has enough bulk to it, you do not need any weight. These fish were all caught in 33 feet of water.

WTG I'm looking forward to fishing your bait again! But, who knows when that will be. Did you chum? Were they caught a cople of cranks off bottom? what was the structure/cover?

Fishing in creek channel and one turn off bottom and yes I throw out cubes.
