What kind of kayak? What make and size FF? What fish do you target?

Yes it will work fine. Your water temp will lag behind but the image should not be affected. Make sure you look at some of the threads about mounting it. Main thing to ensure there are NO bubbles in the adhesive ( or epoxy etc. ) under the transducer. Most pick a location forward of the seating area to keep your screen from being even further behind your actual position when you are moving. Don't push ity so far that you are shooting through a thickened part of the keel. just make sure the material under it is relativly uniform in thickness and you should be in great shape. You will probably need to tune your sensitivity down just a bit.

Best of luck, Phill
