Painted some heads from 1/16 to 3/8 today. Most are 2 and 3 color heads as I wanted to try some new techniques. Jigs are for reds, trout, bass & crappie. Some are for tying and some for plastics but really looking forward to tying the light heads for targeting crappie in the freshwater.

Nice looking jig heads, like the color mix and the mixing of colors per jig.

Well it sure looks like you have enough to go fishing and also plenty to tie!
Nice job,

Thanks Skip for all the inspiration you have posted. The next rainy day off I plan to start working with the hackle and chenille. Adding eyes to the Donkie heads now and that is enough for this week. I have a few plastics I matched up with the paint that should work for most of the freshwater targets untill I get time to tie.

Love that bottom one a lot and other one looks nice too, but that bottom one sure looks kind of like a shrimp to me!
Nice color match with the head for sure!

I started tying a few. Many lessons to remember.

From a person who does not tie, those look good enough to buy...
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach
