I do not know the Choke Canyon water shed well but from my calculations it only received 3 inches of rainfall more than a "normal" year from January through November. I am not sure what it received in December but it looks like it is going to be another year or more before the recovery process starts.

Gonna be more than a year unless the mother load of rain hits by Uvalde. The lake has the worst recharge zone possible and the idiots in charge would just drain it empty again even if it were to fill.

Think about it: "three inches above a normal year" should at least make substantial progress towards filling the average reservoir...with a decent watershed and proper usage. Not the definition of Choke is it?

Most of the watershed around Choke ends up in Mathis lake, that lake filled twice last year and Choke came up a few feet (barely). Horrible design by the engineers.
