Why is everyone about boat speed nowadays? 68 mph is not fast enough? I just want a good reason why you have to go 80mph

Yep no doubt. In fact the guys I know who's boats might go 35 or so are some fishing machines. Some of the best I know of. Speed doesn't always equal good fishermen

They are a fun toy between fishing spots. Stay safe and have fun! You don't have to have a fast boat to have fun. But, something about cruising past 70 makes you feel like a kid again. 68 is plenty fast though...
