That's how I feel about my recent trips bang

On the 9th I slipped out by myself, dropped a 3" Mag Tadpole in Blue Glo-Treuse and immediately stuck a nice fish clap

The rest of the afternoon I didn't have any issues getting bit, but no quality fish! Ended up with 16 realmad

On the 11th, Belinda & I got on the water late morning and she immediately stuck a 1.95#

We caught fish on a variety of baits, but no really good fish
Belinda did have a little fun with this one

Met up with shecrappiekilla at the ramp and gave him the fish we had

On the 13th, Belinda & I again set sail to try our luck.
We didn't get on the water till almost noon, by 2 I gave up attempting to catch fish on big baits and rigged up a Mr. Fry for myself and a 2" Tadpole for Belinda
We followed HOGON's advice and dipped the tails of the BES in Chart Spike-It.
It was game on, but just a couple in each spot we hit and way too many shorties
We ended up with 20, but 2/3's were less than I wanted to keep

On the bright side, I've found a lot of new structure and gotten very good with my filet knife.

Hope to go back out tomorrow, just not sure where or how I'll fish. Belinda & I both don't want to fish open water, but that may end up being exactly what we do

He was on a tree on the island the last time we were out. I've seen him standing on the dam several times tho.

I wish it would get COLD and stay COLD!

I think a lot of fish migrated to the dam area when the water started cooling off, but when it stayed 58-59 for almost a month now, they kinda scattered.
