Hot water side was 74 degrees....dam end of the lake was 64 degrees. Lake is a little overfull and surprisingly clear for all the rain we've had lately. Even the hot side looked good. The stumps are mostly hidden from view now but they are lurking just under the surface so stay on the beaten paths.

Anyone have a map that shows how to run this lake?

Most likely not going to find a map of this lake... if you're running around the main lake you won't see depths more than 8ish feet.

If there's one out there I've never seen it. They have lake maps at the state park office but they are a home made variety and a little pricey. Not a bad map but not what you're looking for I think. Just don't run down the middle of the lake. If you're wanting to go to the hot water cut it's best to run parallel to the dam and then run the southern shoreline (especially after you pass under the railroad bridge). The lake is 100% full right now and it looks like clear running down the center but I wouldn't chance it.

Yeah I was hoping someone could post a map similar to the one that was posted about Lake Palestine. That map was very helpful. So if anyone could post something similar, that would be great.

FYI: if you go to www.navionics.com and click on the web app up in the right top corner it will open up a map of North American it`s lakes and coastal waterways.Click on your lake and just zoom in. It will show lakes with good details. 2cents

thumb I use the navionics webb app quite a bit. It's handy.

I know there are some rods that mark the run into the hot water cut. Does anyone have a waypoint with the coordinates to where you should make the turn?
