was the number on Lake Murvaul today, plus two ol' whisker fish. A good mess of 11 and 12 inchers. The lake is a bit overfull from all the rain last Sunday but the bite is there if you can aggravate them enough. Black/Chartreuse was the color today and it had to be right on the bottom. No problem detecting the thump today. When they finally decided to hit it, they smacked it good. Some other fishermen were watching me trying to get my jig under a dock and I was having a time doing it with the lake level being up. I was getting embarrassed but I finally got my distance down and pulled 4 good ones out from under the shade. Dang, but that's fun. Water temp is 60 degrees, the brush piles are 15 fow and the dock was 9 fow. Oh yeah, the marina has closed down, so if you're a minnow user you'll have to find them elsewhere.
