I think that we (customers) do need another bass boat manufacturer. Specifically an independent one that is not part of a large corporation or owned by an private equity firm. The high selling prices make us (customers) concerned with the resell value and it makes it tougher for a new small manufacturer to get establish. With that, kudos may be in order for Phoenix and Legend but I am not privy to their ownership to say for certain.

I don't have any intel here, but I would be very surprised if those guys don't return to the biz on their own terms or close to it. They are very good at what they do and they enjoy it -- and they are competitive dudes.
